OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2010. NORVIK BANKA has joined the program "Unified Personal Current Account Switching Principles" (hereafter – The Unified Principles), which is developed by the Association of Commercial Banks of Latvia, reported the press-centre of NORVIK BANKA.

The Unified Principles are developed with the purpose to make easier to clients – private individuals, LR residents - to switch their current account between the banks.

Account switching is possible only between the banks registered in Latvia or Latvian branches of foreign based banks that are parties of the the Unified Principles.

For example, in order to switch the account from another bank to NORVIK BANKA, the client will have to fill the application form in NORVIK BANKA and indicate NORVIK BANKA as the place of opening a new account. After the exchange of information between banks, new account will be opened in NORVIK BANKA.
