OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2010. A meeting of Azerbaijani prime minister Artur Rasizadeh with Yusuf bin Alavi bin Abdulla, the minister of foreign affairs of Oman, has been held in Baku.

During the meeting the Omani FM pointed out that his country was interested in expansion of trade and economic co-operation with Azerbaijan.

In this connection it was also stressed the necessity of broadening agreement and legal base between the two countries and fast ratification of documents concerning issues of business activity.

The Omani minister also emphasized the importance of air communication between Azerbaijan and Oman.

The PM, in his turn, voiced a hope that a decision on opening of both states’ embassies in Azerbaijan and Oman would promote to widening of ties between their countries.
