OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2010. Gazprom Neft launches ESPO (Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean) pipeline oil deliveries from Kozmino seaport. The first cargo of 100 thousand tons is to be shipped on January 30-31. Distribution of oil is performed through the Company’s subsidiary Gazprom Neft Trading GMBH, the buyer is represented by the Japanese Mitsubishi.
“We consider the new direction of deliveries to be rather perspective for the Company and to open up an entrance to the Pacific Rim markets with a stable customer demand. We expect that deliveries through Kozmino seaport will become efficiency comparable with deliveries though traditional European routes”, Chairman of Gazprom Neft Management Board Alexander Dyukov mentioned. At the initial stage, oil stock produced by the Company in the Tomsk Region will be used for deliveries via ESPO.
