OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2010. Russian Agricultural Bank announced its agribusiness lending objectives for 2010, reported the press-centre of RusAg.

In 2010, Russian Agricultural Bank is expected to extend loans to the total amount of RUR 153 billion for seasonal field works. The amount of RusAg’s loans for construction, refurbishment and modernization of animal-breeding and poultry farms will reach some RUR 76 billion.

The Bank plans to increase the amount of loans extended for purchase of agricultural equipment and machinery by 2.5 times to RUR 40 billion. RusAg will also extend RUR 35 billion to the rural population, including personal household plots owners.

A special focus in the Bank’s lending policy will be given to lending to agricultural enterprises involved in production, processing and storage of grain. RusAg is expected to extend loans totaling RUR 10 billion for development of grain market infrastructure.

In 2010, RusAg will provide agribusiness producers and rural population with necessary credit and financial resources.
