OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2010. Sviaz-Bank has started providing banking services to mining companies in the Republic of Tyva and Chita Region within the framework of the Program launched in June 2009 to finance gold mining companies in the primary precious metals market in Russia’s major gold mining regions, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

Funds are provided to gold mining companies by advance payment for gold delivered to a gold refinery, or in the form of loans for the washing season.

In 2010, Sviaz-Bank plans to expand its geographic reach for gold to buy from gold mining companies in the Siberian Federal District, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and Amur Region, among others.
