OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2010. ROSNO has won the open tender "Insurance Protection of Property of Judges in Arbitration System of the Russian Federation" for the year 2010, held by the RF Higher Court of Arbitration, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Following its victory in the tender, ROSNO will provide insurance coverage of the property owned by judges employed in the RF arbitration system for the year 2010. Among the insured objects are apartments, rooms, private houses, cottage houses, garages, and the property stored therein. The contract has been concluded for one year. Along with ROSNO, four more federal-scale insurers had participated in the tender.

Under the concluded public contract, the insured accident is the damage resulting from:.
fire (arson), explosion,
other damage, and/or destruction of insured property occurring through unlawful (deliberate) acts of third parties, including the acts of terrorism,
burglary, robbery, and brigandage.

No one of the abovementioned events will constitute an insured accident if, in accordance with statutory procedure, it is established that such event is not related to the judge’s performance of job duties. In accordance with the Russian Federation Law "On Status of Judges in the Russian Federation", the property owned by judges is subject to obligatory state insurance.
