OREANDA-NEWS. February 02, 2010. In 2009, according to preliminary data, Bashinformsvyaz posted a 3.2% y-o-y rise in revenue to RUB 5.38 bn, Interfax reported quoting sources at the company. According to the news agency, last year, gross profit climbed 13.2% to RUB 880 mn and net profit is expected to rise on the year-earlier period. In 2010, the company intends to lift revenue 2.4% y-o-y to RUB 5.5 bn. Investments are to remain flat y-o-y at RUB 1.64 bn.

BASHINFORMSVYAZ provides Bashkortostan citizens with 90 per cent of the total volume of communications, servicing more than 680,000 subscribers. A trunk network created on the basis of cable, radio relay lines and a powerful electronic switchboard in Ufa, allows people to make up to 230,000 telephone calls daily.
