OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2010. Russian Minister of Defense Anatoly Serdukov met his Libyan counterpart, Lieutenant-General Abu-Bakr Yunis Jaber, Libya’s Defence Minister.

The talks focused on broadening Russia-Libya bilateral defense relations.

The meeting was attended by Mikhail Dmitriev, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC of Russia) and Sergey Chemezov Director General of the Russian Technologies State Sorporation

Members of the Libyan official delegation before the meeting took part in an official ceremony at the memorial complex “Poklonnaya Gora”, and also visited the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
