OREANDA-NEWS. As of 1 February 2010, the bank customers who are not the residents of the Republic of Latvia are offered a new deposit – Multicurrency deposit, reported the press-centre of PrivatBank.

Like other AS "PrivatBank" deposits, the Multicurrency deposit also offers beneficial interest rates: up to 12.5% per annum for LVL deposits, 6% for USD deposits and up to 7.5% for EUR deposits, opening a deposit for 12 months. The customers who want to place a deposit for 3 months are offered the following rates: 5.5% for EUR deposits, 4.5% for USD deposits, and 10.5% for LVL deposits.

The new deposit product enables the bank customers to change the deposit currency within one deposit by converting it at the current AS "PrivatBank" rate, thus keeping funds in the currency in which the highest interest rates are offered at that moment.
