OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2010. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the cost of the dairy products produced in the past year in current prices amounted to 1 billion 38,3 million leis (US83 million).

In the total cost of goods produced the last year, the share of dairy products is 5%. In January-December 2008, the volume of dairy products output has increased by 6% as compared with 2007 amounting to 1 billion 166,7 million leis in current prices. The share of the dairy products in the total cost of industrial output in 2008 made 4.6%.

Thus, the last year this figure grew by 0.4% compared with 2008. The degree of influence of changes in the production volumes on the overall index of production in 2009 amounted to 0,4%. Currently 24 factories processing milk operate in Moldova. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, for the last 7-8 years range and structure of the dairy products received after processing remain unchanged.
