OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2010. Belgorod region 35—110 kv networks development scheme for the period till 2015 with prospect till 2020 was considered and approved at the technical meeting of IDGC of Centre, JSC.

Reconsideration of having existed since 2006 development scheme parameters and development of new project were caused by change of scenario conditions of economic development of Belgorod region. Networks development scheme will be substantiation for approval of investment and repair programs of energy company.

Construction of nine 110 kv substations and four 35 kv substations, of 14 110 kv power transmission lines of total length about 493 km, of 25 35 kv power transmission lines (about 375 km) is planned at the territory of Belgorod region according to developed project till 2020. Increase of set capacity at main substations of the branch of “UES FGC”, JSC Bulk Power Systems of Centre will be also necessary besides construction and reconstruction of IDGC of Centre objects.

Sergey Shumakher, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC for Technical Policy remarked: “Adjustment of scheme is subject to projected growth of region power consumption, as well as subject to necessity to enhance reliability of power supply of vital infrastructure. Other not unimportant target is arrangement of conditions for non-discriminatory access to power networks of participants of retail market providing specified level of reliability. Belgorod region 35—110 kv networks development new scheme solves these problems”.

35—110 kv networks development scheme is approved by Regional Energy Commission of Belgorod region, by the branch of ОАО “SO UES” — Belgorod Regional Dispatch Department and the branch of  “UES FGC”, JSC — Enterprise of intersystem electric networks of Chernozemye.
