OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2010. Governor of Eesti Pank ANDRES LIPSTOK presented a silver collector coin with nominal value 10 kroons dedicated to the XXI Winter Olympic Games held in Vancouver. The coins, which cost 350 kroons, are sold in the Museum of Eesti Pank (Estonia pst 11) and in the offices of SEB Bank throughout Estonia, reported the press-centre of Eesti Pank.

Secretary General of the Estonian Olympic Committee Toomas Tonise, the Ambassador of Canada to the Baltic States Scott Heatherington, and the author of the coin design Stanislav Kalinin spoke at the presentation.

One side of the silver coin depicts a dynamic stylised image of racing cross-country skiers, the nominal value "10 KROONI", the logo of the Estonian Olympic Committee, and the figure XXI. The other side depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of Estonia, the year 2010, and the text "EESTI VABARIIK". The mintage of the collector coins is 10,000 and they were made by Mint of Finland.

The coin is sold by the Museum of Eesti Pank and by the following SEB offices: in the Tornimae, Lasnamae Centrum, Pae, Magistrali, Nomme, Jarve, Roosikrantsi, Kristiine and Oismae offices in Tallinn and in the SEB offices in Rapla, Parnu, Haapsalu, Kuressaare, Rakvere, Kivioli, Johvi, Narva, Sillamae, Kohtla-Jarve, Paide, Viljandi, Poltsamaa, Jogeva, Polva, Voru, Valga, Tartu, Antsla and Otepaa.
