OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2010. According to the twelve months of 2009 results passenger traffic of Pulkovo Airport had a total enrolment of 6 758 031 people, which is 4,42% less than the activities of the twelve months of 2008, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to the foreign countries for the twelve months in 2009 had a total enrolment of 2 933 497 people, which is 9,53% less than the number of passengers, carried during the twelve months in 2008.

Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 3 273 317 people, which is 0,37% more than during the twelve months in 2008.

Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS decreased by 2,81% and had a total enrolment of 551 217 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations decreased by 6,86% during the twelve months in 2009 and had a total enrolment of 87 594 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) is 3 069 000 tons, the decrease is 9,01% as compared with the same period in 2008.

Results of December 2009

According to December results passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 517 197 people, which is 22,34% more than it was in December 2008, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to foreign countries in November 2009 had a total enrolment of 180 009 people, which is 4,91% more than the number of passengers carried in December 2008.

Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 294 785 people, which is 40,20% more than in December 2008.

Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS increased by 3,65% and had a total enrolment of 42 403 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations increased by 9,69% in December 2009 and had a total enrolment of 6 983 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) is 238 589 tons, the increase is 1,27% as compared with the same period in 2008.
