OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2010. On the 27th of January, State Property Fund of Ukraine sold an 11% GOU stake in the share capital of Mariupol Heavy Mashinery Plant for a total worth of UAH 17.4 mn. As a result of the bidding, the price per share went up and reached UAH 10.29, while its nominal value is UAH 0.25. SPF did not disclose the information about the new owners of the 11% stake in the MZVM share capital.

Millennium Capital: the fact that the SPF has sold its stake testifies to the Ukrainian Government being acutely short of funds. Millennium Capital notes that the deal was quite successful for the new owner, if one takes into account the current market price for MZVM stocks which is UAH 28 now.
