OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2010. This was announced by the Romanian president in Chisinau after the meeting with the acting president of Moldova Mihai Ghimpu and the meeting of the official delegations of both countries.

Traian Basescu said that gratuitous financial aid will be allocated to Moldova for 4 years – till 2013 by four annual tranches of 25 million euros. The Romanian President said that these funds are intended for implementation of infrastructure development projects in education, modernization of schools and infrastructure development at the local level.

It is planned that in the nearest future Moldovan and Romanian side will start preparations for signing grant agreement.
