OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2010. The Russian Institute of Directors (RID) and the Expert RA rating agency consortium confirmed the rating of UTair Aviation’s corporate management, ranking it at level 6 on the scale of the National Rating of Corporate Management – NRCM for "advanced corporate management practice".

The Agency’s official report stated that UTair has low risks in corporate management. According to the valuation results, significant positive changes have been achieved by the Airline. Expert RA emphasized that the success of UTair’s corporate management system is due to the strategic initiatives of management and shareholders.

UTair Aviation has earned 144th place on the Expert RA’s Capitalization-200 listing of the largest Russian companies on the market as well as coming in at 151 on Expert-400, the same agency’s list of the Russia's largest companies by revenues.

According to Consortium "RID - Expert RA" ratings, a company with a NRCM level between 6 and 8 has low corporate management risks, has been found in compliance with Russian legislation on corporate management, follows the majority of recommendations found in the Russian Corporate Code of Conduct and many recommendations of international best corporate management practice.
