They carried out the press-conference of Evgeniy Zhdovets, Executive Director of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”, who told the journalists about the work of the power company during the period of low temperatures. He said that during the frosty days of January the enterprises of Yenisei TGC worked stably and reliably and provided all their consumers with heat and electric power. At present at the enterprises of the company they keep the regime of the increased control over the equipment work and failure free power supply

Since December 30 up to January 11 the Krasnoyarsk Region and the city of Krasnoyarsk witnessed the stable low air temperature. The average daily temperature was 20 degrees lower than during the past year. During that period the enterprises of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” provided the stable work directed to the supply of the consumers with the heat resources. At all the enterprises of the company they set the regime of the increased control. They provided the round the clock work of the responsible on-duty officers. The dispatch service and the operative repair teams worked hard.

Due to the low temperatures they increased the productive supply of the heat power to the consumers. In accordance with the same period of 2009 the daily release of the heat power was 30% increased. During the frostiest days of January of 2010 the heat release of Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” was over 90 thousand Gcal per day and night period. In January of the past year the maximum amount of the work out accounted for nearly 69 thousand Gcal per day and night period. In general, since the beginning of the heating season (since September till December of 2009) the productive release of the heat power to the consumers 10% increased in comparison with the past year. In 2008 for September-December period the productive supply in general in Yenisei TGC accounted for 4,987 thousand Gcal and for the same period of 2009 accounted for 5,429 Gcal.

In terms of working out of the electric power, Yenisei TGC implemented the dispatch schedules, determined by the Regional Dispatch Administration, in full amount and without the deviations. The company works in the regime of the maximum electric load. It is connected with the low temperatures of the outer air and with the necessity to work out the additional amounts of the electric power due to the failure at the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP. The company timely carried out the technical and organizational activities directed to the provision of work with high loads. In particular, they increased the amount of the financing, for example the company directed RUR 122 million over the plan to winter preparation activities.

Heat grids work

Bulk heat grids of the company during the period of the low temperatures witnessed no incidents neither in Krasnoyarsk no in other cities of the activity. The occurred minor failures at the internal district mains of the Krasnoyarsk heating grid carried out the local character and were eliminated in the operative regime. The amount of such separate switch-offs, which zone involved 3-4 buildings and which were eliminated during several hours, considerably, 2,5 fold decreased in comparison with 2009. Thus, for the period since January 1 till January 18 of 2010 “Krasnoyarsk heating grid” repaired 16 minor failures of the heating grid. For the same period of 2009 this amount accounted for 39.

In general, since the beginning of the heating season there were no considerable deviations in work of the heat grid. The positive dynamics in many aspects is connected with the quality of the summer works. In 2008-2009 we carried out the diagnostics of 250 km of the heat grids of Krasnoyarsk with the term of wear of more than 25 years. It gave the possibility to detect the most problem sites where the company concentrated its repairs efforts.

Heat power stations work

Heat power stations of the company located in the Krasnoyarsk region and Khakass Republic (Krasnioyarsk TPP-1,2,3,4, Naxzarovskaya SDPP, Minusinskaya TPP, Kanskaya TPP and Abakanskaya TPP) during the period of low temperatures and in general since the beginning of the heating season witnessed no deviation in work which would lead to the failures in power supply of the consumers. The technological violation in the work of the boiler at Krasnoyarsk TPP-2 occurred on January 3, 2010 was eliminated for less than 20 hours. Together with this they provided the hot water supply of all the consumers. The decreased temperature parameters were brought to the normative meanings during the short period of time.

Fuel supply

Low temperatures caused the increased discharge of fuel. The company took all the measures on forming of the sufficient fuel storage that’s why there were no problems with the fuel supply. Since January 1 till January 18 of 2010 the amount of the coal combustion accounted for 925 thousand tones. In comparison with the same period of 2009 the amount accounted for 715 thousand tones. During the frostiest days of January the day and night consumption by all the enterprises of the company reached 54 thousand tons – these are 794 carriages. Krasnoyarsk TPP-1 combusted up to 13 thousand tons of coal or 190 carriages. At present, the supplies of heat were carried out uninterruptedly.

At present the power enterprises of the Yenisei TGC work in normal regime. All the repair works which are carried out at present at the heating grids bear the regular preventive character and are carried out by the preliminary applications.
