OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2010. Subsidiary Bank Sberbank Rossii (Almaty), bonds of which are listing on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a press release, reported the press-centre of KASE:

SB Sberbank Rossii entered into a cooperation agreement with Magnum LLP. The document was signed by First Deputy Chairman of SB Sberbank Rossii Alexander Kamalov and Magnum LLP Director Alexander Garber.

According to the agreement the parties are intending to develop cooperation in investment financing, in particular, when building two Magnum supermarkets in Almaty in 2010.

"Cooperation with Magnum" - is aimed at development of Kazakhstan business infrastructure, and retail in particular - Alexander Kamalov commented, - involvement of our bank in the project, is boosting our financial capacity and a big step towards mutual cooperation and development of the national economy".

"Today, it is clear one can not implement a project without a reliable and stable funding source, - Alexander Garber said, - Sberbank has become such a source and a partner for us, and this is why, this cooperation agreement  offers new opportunities for growth, and Kazakhstan citizens, will see a result of joint efforts of the two companies - new modern supermarkets".
