OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2010. The Sate Statistics Committee informs that for 2009 non-state power generating capacities (a year ago they were lacking) generated 27.6 million kWh of electricity.

The figure still makes only 0.16% of overall generation in the country (17.76 million kWh), but managed to soften fall of overall power generation (-12.8%) versus decrease of power generation in state sector (17.735 million kWh) by 12.9%.

Last year generation of electricity at hydroelectric power stations (2.228 bn kWh) increased by 0.2% and thermal power stations (15.5 bn kWh) dropped by 14.4%.
