OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2010. Equipment for the 3G rollout by all 3 major telecom operators reportedly has not been cleared by  Russia's customs authorities, since vendors have not received the necessary licenses for 2010, according to Kommersant, reported the press-centre of OTKRITIE Financial Corporation.

View: The 20+ day delay is not crucial from a business point of view, but might lead to difficulties in terms of meeting the necessary deadlines with regard to the license agreements. This is a situation typical in Russia and could be solved relatively quickly. The situation affects all three major telecom operators in Russia.
