OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2010. Irina Postnikova, CEO and Anna Fadeeva, Reinsurance Director at OJSC Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation are making business trip to the Republic of India. The purpose of their visit is getting acquainted with the current state of insurance market and introducing Transsiberian Re to the interested parties as well as direct negotiations with the Indian insurers.    

Irina Postnikova and Anna Fadeeva took part in the III Indian Rendezvous from 19 to 21 January (Mumbai). This conference, gathering about three hundred insurance representatives from Australia, America, Europe and Asia, was devoted to reinsurance questions. 

Apart from participation in the conference, heads of Transsiberian Re held multiple negotiations with Indian insurance companies and brokers. Thus, by invitation of the largest Indian insurer – General Insurance Corporation of India – Irina Postnikova and Anna Fadeeva visited main office of this insurance company where they held 12 meetings in different departments. Five more meetings were held in New India Assurance Co. Ltd (Subsidiary of GIC of India).

Transsiberian Re is actively cooperating with GIC and two its subsidiaries for several years. Apart from that GIC of India is our partner in retrocession program for different types of insurance.

Our representatives were met with great interest and negotiations were held in warm atmosphere. Our representatives also negotiated with Indian as well as international brokers.
