OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2010. Astana-Finance (Astana), bonds of which are listing on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a press release, reported the press-centre of KASE:

On December 25, 2009 Astana special interregional economical court considered a civil case on the basis of a claim initiated by Accumulative pension fund Grantum JSC (APF Grantum JSC) to declare Astana-Finance JSC bankrupt, and dismissed the claim.

APF Grantum filed the bankruptcy petition as Astana-Finance is financially liable before the Fund. The financial debt is being restructured.

Since the first instance court had dismissed the claim, APF Grantum filed an appeal, which will be investigated in accordance with the Kazakhstan legislation.
