Azerbaijani Population Power Charge Rose up 88,1% in 2009
OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2010. The Azerbaijani government says that in December charge from the population totaled 97.7% versus 81.4% in November, 91.3% in October, 92.9 in September, 94% in July (data over August was not provided), 93.7% in June, 90.9% in May of 2009.
Following the past year the charge made up 88.1% versus 87.9% for Jan-Nov, 88.5% for Jan-Oct, 88.2% for Jan-Sept, 79.4% for the 1st half of 2009.
In December 2009 the best indicators were registered in Narimanov district of Baku (140.9%), Samukh (133.9%), and Khizi (129.3%) regions.
As a whole, in Baku where the major part of power consumers is concentrated the charge made up 101.1% in December. Over 2009 the charge leaders were Hajigabul district (106.9%), Shirvan city (106.4%) and Zardab region (104.6%), while charge in Baku totaled 90.1%.
Power charge by over 100% of consumed electricity cost is linked with repayment of previous power debts.
