OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2010. The 9th Arbitration Appeal Court allowed the appeal of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) and revoked the judgment of the Court of the first instance that invalidated the decision of the antimonopoly authority on administrative liability of "LUKOIL" OJSC for failure to present information upon a FAS Russia's request, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

According to the definition of the FAS Russia's Commission of 5th June 2009, "LUKOIL" OJSC should have presented information (data) and documents required by the antimonopoly authority to consider an antimonopoly case against "LUKOIL" OJSC, which was opened at the beginning of 2009.

"LUKOIL" OJSC failed to present such information and fulfill the request, which constituted the grounds for issuing a determination on imposing administrative charges upon the company under Article 19.8 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations.
