EuroChem Installs New Equipment at Phosphorit
OREANDA-NEWS. January 22,
The work scope has been determined for 2010, with a total cost of 734 million roubles for the wet-process phosphoric acid shop and sulphuric acid production. The project will be implemented in stages, as designed by the Canadian company SNC-Lavalin Inc., along with OJSC Tulagiprokhim and OJSC NIUIF (Research Institute for Fertilizers and Insecto-fungicides).
During the first stage, the sulphuric acid production process will be equipped with a steam super-heater and economizers designed and manufactured at the ZiO-Podolsk machine-building factory, as well as packed drying and final absorption towers.
This stage, worth 340 million roubles, is to be completed in September 2010.
As for wet-process phosphoric acid production, construction and installation to convert the fourth technological system to a hemi-hydrate mode (from dehydrate) will be launched in early 2010. The estimated cost of this work is 394 million roubles.
The conversion of wet-process phosphoric acid production from dehydrate to hemi-hydrate mode will increase production line capacity by 2.4 times.
