OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2010. As it was informed in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova, the objective of the "Private sector investment” (PSI) is to stimulate economic development in the developing economies, including Moldova, through the private sector support. PSI Program provides grants for the projects implemented by local companies, together with the Netherlands companies.

The project must be innovative for the country and have a significant impact on the local economy. Moldovan enterprises must demonstrate the existence of cooperation with Netherlands companies (joint ventures, long-term cooperation contracts, etc.) with which they can submit a project proposal.

The Netherlands government's program will offer a contract for financing of the investments made. In most cases, 50% of investment will be compensated. The maximum project cost may reach 1,5 million euros. For each country, the number of such compensated contracts will make 2-3 contracts per year. The presentation of PSI program will be held on January 29, 2010 at IEC "Moldexpo".
