OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2010. Uralmash Machine-Building Corporation which forms part of OMZ dispatched feed-rate pumping unit to "Service Drilling Company" Ltd (Noyabrsk). The latter is a subdivision of Gazprom Neft Joint Stock Company. Procurement contract was signed in September 2009 and duly performed.

The set of equipment includes triplex slush pumps UNBT-1180L with AC electric drive, сomplete thyristor converter in a tailor-made container (KTU), locking and distributing device (ZRU) and complete switchgear (KRU). The total weight of the equipment shipped is about 90 tons. The equipment passed acceptance tests.

Uralmash has manufactured slush pumps of the kind since 2007. However this is the first time the corporation produces feed-rate pumping unit.

Frikas Khasanov, director of Oil and Gas Drilling Equipment division says: "Many oil and gas companies aim at upgrading their equipment at present. Thus we handle a number of purchase orders for pumping units with slush pumps UNBT -1180L included".
