OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2010. Using up-dated information technologies the company will upgrade the storage and archiving system of financial documentation. Companies TerraLink, SCIENER and CorSsis are the contractors of the project.

This project is intended to improvement of data handling efficiency, automation and optimization of documentation storage processes. To fulfill set tasks the centralized source financial documentation storage will be established in IDGC of Centre, JSC, this will provide the opportunity to organize easy access to the documents of SAP R/3 and Microsoft SharePoint Server systems.

Dmitry Lagunin, Deputy General Director for information technologies and business-planning of IDGC of Centre, JSC, noted: "As a result of the project implementation we’ll get safety data storage, automate the input process of documents in SAP system, organize access to the documents from interface of Microsoft SharePoint system used in our Company".

The centralized source financial documentation storage will be accounted for increase of data volume and number of users. The project is planned to be implemented in two stages. At the first stage it is planned to substitute the existing data storage by the centralized storage system. At the second — to secure integration of the storage and opportunity of access to it from SAP R/3 and Microsoft SharePoint Server systems.
