OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2010. Vladimir Tikhonovich Zhidkov is appointed Director General of Open Joint Stock Company “Engineering Center UES”.

Sylvian Ivanovich Seu who has been previously holding this position will now exercise strategic management of the company in capacity of member of Board of Directors, “Engineering Center UES”.

V.T. Zhidkov was born on July 30, 1949. He graduated from Volgograd polytechnic institute majoring in automobile transport. From 1972 through 2007 Vladimir Tikhonovich worked at ОАО “Sevzapelectroset’story”, having grown from a line mechanic to Director General. From 2007 to 2009 he worked at ОАО “Energostroyinvest-Holding” as First Deputy Director General for production/Managing Director of ООО “New Engineering Company”, Director of design management center.

For his considerable contribution to the development of power industry V.T. Zhidkov was honored with high governmental and industry decorations: title "Honored Builder of the Russian Federation”, “Honored Worker of Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Russian Federation”, “Honored Power Engineer” and “Honored Power Engineer of CIS”.
