OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2010. In Nizhny Novgorod micro-district Scherbinky (105, Gagarin Avenue) commissioning of new heat meter TC-11 equipped with a data transfer system using a GSM wireless communication took place.

Now Nizhny Novgorod residents can estimate operation of the new device. Commissioning was performed by designers of the Chief designer department for commercial products in the presence of the head of Marketing Service A. Bodrov, Director of "Teploavtomatika" Ltd. A.Priporov, representative of the "AIP" metering devices service center S. Zouev and chairperson of condominium 105 O. Novikova.

The multi-purpose device with the "AIP" trade mark is a whole system for data collection and transfer, it has 6 registration channels allowing simultaneous measuring of cold and hot water, ambient temperature etc. All data of the meter operation including unauthorized intervention are transferred to a control station which can be located at a considerable distance (within hundreds and even thousands of kilometers).

Except the heat meter the set includes flow transducers which require no additional filtering and create no pressure drop in the heat carrier pipeline.

- For many years our organization has been performing mounting of the metering devices. We mounted "AIP" products TC-01. TC-03, TC-06, TC-07 even in the last century. They operated from one verification till another keeping their technical characteristics.

I am sure TC-11 is highly reliable. The metrological part is worth special mentioning. The electromagnetic flow rate transducers are among the best in quality, design and principle of operation. They provide operation even with impure water and retain their metrological characteristics during a long period of time. In our organization data from all mounted devices come to the office servicing network by the wireless communication channels. The TC-11 meter excellently integrates into our system. It is very important to take readings quickly and control its operation.

- In Nizhny Novgorod heat metering devices are not widely used but more and more dwelling owners think of their installation. And "AIP" has an opportunity to take this niche. Today the first TC-11 heat meter has been mounted: compact, easy for mounting and servicing, allowing remote reading taking.
