OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2010. Kernel Group offered the minority shareholders to buy their shares (37.6%) for USD 28mn. This followed the objections from the Allseeds minority shareholders concerning the option to buy a controlling interest stake in Allseeds Group by Kernel. The minority shareholders are to respond to the offer by 31 January 2010. In case of this purchase of the minority shareholders ‘stake in Allseeds, Kernel will be able to own 100% of Allseeds Group.

Millennium Capital considers the news to increase the probability of Allseeds Group acquisition by Kernel, since the minorities are obliged currently to consider the offer and are restricted in the blocking of the option deal. Millennium Capital is inclined to believe that at the initial stage, Kernel will buy 56% of Allseeds group as specified in the option deal terms.
