OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2010. Fedor Shchelkov, Deputy General Director of OAO TATNEFT for General Issues, has been recognized a winner of the Republican public contest "Manager of the Year-2009" in the nomination "For the active promotion of goods produced by national manufacturers and application of electronic technologies". This contest has been held in the Republic of Tatarstan for the ninth time, however the mentioned nomination has been introduced for the first time, since this type of activity is given special consideration in Tatarstan, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The top manager of the Company has been awarded for the arrangement of the electronic trading system at the construction site of the TANEKO Complex of refineries and petrochemical plants (Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan) with TATNEFT being the main coordinator of the construction. About 70 million rubles are spent here every day, and the e-information system allows to significantly accelerate the procedure for procurement of materials and components, as well as to ensure its transparency and maximum participation of domestic enterprises, and in general to significantly decrease total costs. The cost effectiveness of the system's application amounts to 30%.

*OAO TATNEFT provided the TANEKO project financing in the amount of 74 billion rubles in 2009 (126 billion rubles from the beginning of the construction).
