OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2010. Over 2009 carrying out of stimulus lotteries by the commercial organizations has increased by 5.5% in Azerbaijan as compared to 2008.

The Azerbaijani State Securities Committee (ASSC) informed  that  summarizing the results of 2009,  58 promotion-actions were registered in the country against 55 ones in 2008.

“At the same time, in 2009, Azerlotereya state joint-stock company conducted  14  lotteries in the  republic versus nine ones for all 2008,” ASSC informed.

Five violations were found out upon carrying out of the lotteries over the year and fines in total amount of AZN 1,000 were imposed.

Azerlotereya is the state monopolist on organization and carrying out of lotteries.
