OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2010. According to the Ukrainian association of car manufacturers Ukravtoprom press release in 2009, the AvtoKrAZ holding had trimmed its production volume by 91.76% or 3,116 vehicles to 280 trucks as compared to 2008. In H2 alone, the Company had reduced its output by 90.8% to 180 trucks. In 2010, KRAZ plans to increase its output by 8.57 times to 2, 400 trucks as against the 2008 results.

Millennium Capital: this reduction in output was caused by a slump in demand for trucks in 2009. An expected output growth will increase KRAZ operations’ profitability in 2010 and, accordingly, so will improve investor attractiveness of the Company.
