MSICH Announced Contract with India
OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2010. MotorSich signed an agreement with the Indian Air Forces to produce 100 AI model engines and five AN-32 aircraft model engines for a total worth of USD110mn. Note should be made that a contract is to be launched this year for re-equipment of AN-32 model aircrafts (this contract worth USD 400mn had been signed earlier to repair and re-equip 105 AN-32 model aircrafts). The first five aircrafts are to be delivered for repairs and re-equipment by the end of February 2010. According to the timeline agreed to in the contract, the next five aircrafts are to be delivered in 2H2010, so that ten repaired aircraft are to be shipped to the customer by the end of 2010.
Millennium Capital: this news of such a massive contract is positive for the Company, because it lays the ground for predictions of the Company operating at full capacity throughout 2010. This fact and the previously started serial manufacture of AN-70 and AN-124 model aircrafts will ensure stability of MotorSich operations going forward.
