KEGOC Informs on Energy Supply in East-Kazakhstan Oblast
OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2010. Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC) informs that as agreed with Akimat of East-Kazakhstan Oblast technical measures on NPG normal operation restoration in terms of the region consumers postponed to 18 January 2010, 03.00 PM.
Since the start of the year the non-contractual power consumption by energy supplying organization (Shygysenergotrade LLP) reached 34 mln. kWh.
The reason for technical measures transfer was the liability of East-Kazakhstan Oblast Akimat to settle the issue on power volumes return by the specified deadline.
Along with that, Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company applied to prosecution agencies for the purpose of taking measures on regional energy network company (VK REC JSC) which violates the existing legislation – Clause 1, Article 13 of RK Law On Electric Power Industry.
East-Kazakhstan Oblast remains the only region where there is existing power disbalance and incompliance with daily load schedule during many years.
The allowable disbalance or incorrect using the services on electric energy generation-consumption balancing arrangement negatively influences Kazakhstan NPG reliability and operation mode with adjoining Russia UPS.
