OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2010. TBC Bank held one more raffle on December 31 during which another winner of GEL 1 million was revealed. A solemn ceremony of handing over one million was held at TBC Bank’s Head Office, where a 25 years old lucky depositor Nona Jortmenadze officially received the sum from TBC Bank.

The TBC Bank-sponsored event “Become a Millionaire with TBC Bank” started on February 16, 2009 and lasted up to December 16, 2009.

Any individual who opened a deposit from February 10, 2009 through December 16, 2009 with minimal amount of 500 GEL could participate in the raffle.  During the period o the raffle seven depositors have already received apartments at 5, Chavchavadze Avenue  from TBC Bank. The winner of the main prize – one million Lari  was revealed  on New Year’s Eve. Among 900 thousand tickets of the depositors the leader of the raffle - Kakhi Kavsadze an actor, took Nona Jortmenadzes ticket. Nona was living in Batumi with her husband in the rented apartment. She opened deposit in TBC bank for saving money to by new apartment and for luck she won million.

In frames of the projectTBC Bank's share at the retail deposit market increased to 6.2%  and is 33.5%. 45 000  new term deposits were opened,  the total sum of which amounted to GEL 455 million. The total sum of the TBC Bank's deposit portfolio amounted GEL 626 million by the end of the raffle.
