AQC Postpones Its 1st International Auditor without Date
OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2010. AQC informed that first of all, new kinds of preliminary conditions have arisen. “If earlier passing of the first in history international audit of AQC by the society was considered the main condition, new bureaucratic formalities have appeared now. In this connection, AQC put off the international audit until other bureaucratic issues to be resolved,” it was informed.
Earlier, AQC postponed carrying out of the audit for 2010 and now de facto imposed moratorium.
Earlier, various documents were prepared for submission of application to IVSC.
International audit of AQS should confirm its stable financial condition and ability to pay fees to the council.
Besides audit, IVSC also has another number of additional requirements. IVSC will sanction submission of the application only if the requirements are fulfilled.
Earlier, the society expected submission of the application in September, then in November or December.
The membership in the council will enable the society not only to operate under international standards, but also distribute the standards and translate them into the state (Azerbaijani) language.
Today, AQC unites 50 actively practicing appraisers.
