OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2010. Siauliu bankas has changed the deposit interest rates in litas. Siauliu bankas pays 6.8 per cent for the one-year accumulative deposits in litas, 3.9 per cent - for the deposits in euros, and 1.9 per cent of interest for the same period deposits in US dollars, reported the press-centre of Siauliu Bankas.

The depositors placing accumulative deposits for the nine-month deposits in litas will receive 6.5 per cent, 6.2 per cent - for the six-month deposits, 5.4 per cent - for four-month deposits.

By 0.2 per cent higher interest is applied to those depositors who place accumulative deposits via the Internet through the SB linija. The depositors will receive 7 per cent for one-year accumulative deposits placed via the Internet. By 0.2 per cent higher interest will be paid to those depositors who will place a time deposit via the Internet and acquire the payment card “Visa Electron” or “Maestro” while placing such a deposit as well.

Siauliu bankas pays even 7.9 per cent for the time deposits with the variable interest rate placed in litas for the longest period, i.e. for five years, 4.8 per cent - for such deposits in euros and 2.8 per cent - for the same deposits in US dollars.

Currently Siauliu bankas pays 7.6 per cent of annual interest the for the Child’s deposit.
