OREANDA-NEWS. METALLICA, a world renowned rock legend, will be playing at Saku Suurhall in Tallinn on April 18th, 2010.  The concert is a part of the „World Magnetic Tour“. For the first time in Estonia, the rock group will give a powerful concert indoors. Metallica will play on a 360° stage placed at the center of the hall and a 360° performance is something that has not been seen before in Estonia, reported the press-centre of EMT.

This ultramodern stage provides a better contact between the band and the audience and guarantees first-hand concert experience and great visibility from every section of the hall. Metallica’s lead singer James Hetfield said that the reason of selecting a 360° stage was a wish to have an eye contact with the fans. Members of the band feel that a 360° stage provides a new kind of intense emotion for both the performers and the audience and enables more people to be closer to the stage as well.

Tickets to the METALLICA concert will become available for the general public on Friday at 10 A.M simultaneously in Estonia and Finland. Only 5 100 tickets will be sold through open channels. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketpro’s web store www.ticketpro.ee, at Ticketpro’s box office in Solaris and at Eesti Konsert’s box offices in Tallinn, Tartu, Parnu, Johvi and Narva.
