OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2010. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) consider the past year quite successful in the area of drilling.

SOCAR reports that in 2009 its Trust of Complex Drilling Works implemented the plan target by 100.3% by drilling 147,848 m against the forecast of 147,397 m. 71 wells were put into operation.

Drilling of 73 wells was launched in 2009. Today the Trust is ongoing drilling works in 21 wells.
