OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2010. 500 P-2.8 tractor levellers purchased in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan from the Lidselmash JSC (Republic of Belarus) were delivered for Turkmen agricultural specialists during the first days of the new 2010 year.

This large consignment of agricultural machines is purchased with a view to modernizing and strengthening the material and technical base of Turkmenistan’s agro-industry sector that is an important aspect of the large-scale agricultural reform initiated by the Turkmen leader. The agricultural fleet of the country is composed of state-of-the-art equipment and machines produced by the world’s leading manufacturers. The choice of Belarusian equipment is conditioned by its operational reliability, high efficiency and capacity. Moreover, agricultural machines from Belarus have proved their effectiveness in local soil and climatic conditions of Turkmenistan and are the reliable helpers of Turkmen specialists over many years.

P-2.8 tractor levellers were distributed among the velayats of the country. They will be used for leveling the lands for future cotton plantations.
