41% of Azerbaijan Mortgage Borrowers Relate to Age of 18-30 Years
OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2010. According to Fund’s statistics, 41% of country’s mortgage borrowers (1,485 loans) by the end of the past year were young families and youth aged between 18-30 years.
Simultaneously 30% (1,099 loans) relate to age range of 30-35 years. And only 29% of mortgage loans (1,052 loans) fell on the share of borrowers aged above 36 years.
For AMF activity period (from 2005 to 2009 год) the Fund’s authorized agent banks extended mortgages for AZN 152.2 million.
Mortgage lending in Azerbaijan started on 25 March 2006.
