OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2010. In “Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” branch (Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka town, Zaporizhzhya region) celebrations in honor of the start of a new river terminal construction was held.

 Near Kakhovsky reservoir in the area of 9 ha “NIBULON” with contractors building organizations from all over Ukraine decided to create a high-tech modern facility that will be able to save 60 thousand tons of agricultural production. Construction, in the value of over 100 million UAH, is scheduled to be completed in April 2010. Daily production capacity of two dryers produced by American company "Mathews" will be 3 thousand tons per day, and power of the shipment to water transport – 5 thousand tons per day.

This complex will be constructed within the large-scale investment projects in the value of 150 million USD. The project includes: construction of eight inland silos and river terminals with a total grain storage capacity about 600 thousand tons in Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhya and Poltava regions. Upon completion of this investment project a total storage capacity will reach the mark of 2 million tons. The project also includes building of 24 non-self-propelled barges of mixed “river-sea” type with total deadweight of 108 thousand tons and building of 14 sea and river tugboats. The realization of this investment project will create work places in regions; it will enable to revive navigation along Dnipro River – the main water way of Ukraine. Planed volumes of grains shipped comprise 1 mln tons per year. The existence of fleet will allow to ship container with potential 18 thousand TEU per year.

12 of the planned 24 non-self- propelled vessels of “NIBULON’s” fleet have been already built, grain from the terminal in Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka, as well as alike objects in Vitove village Chygyryn district of Cherkasy region, Hradyzk of Globyne district and the city of Kremenchug, Poltava region, will be shipped on these vessels. Thus, the total cargo-carrying capacity of 12 fleet vessels now is 54 thousand tons, it equals to the cargo-carrying capacity of vessel PANAMAX type.

“Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” branch is the fourth object of “NIBULON”, which is built within the frames of investment project 2009-2010. October the 17th, 2009 President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko took part in the opening of the new river terminal in Vitove village Chygyryn district of Cherkasy region. The facility was built in record short time - only 2 months! The realization of this building which V.A. Yushchenko christened as “a project of good mood” and “a model labour”. October  the 30th, 2009 opening of two new elevator complexes of “NIBULON” in Globyne town and Romodan village Myrgorodskyy district of Poltava region. These events are extremely important for Ukraine, which now urgently needs to increase capacity of elevators twice in order to provide preservation of the grown grain.

For the construction of elevators and 24 non-self propelled vessels, tens of thousands tons of metal are necessary, and it provides stable work places for the metallurgist. During the year in the process of the investment project more than 15 thousand workers will be involved, and after the commissioning of the facilities permanent work places in the company “NIBULON” will be given to 1000 employees.
To participate in the work of the river terminal in “Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” the best construction companies from all over Ukraine were selected by tender. Among them are the old and tested “NIBULON’s” partners from Mykolayiv “Zhitlobud-Niko” and “Vysotnyk”. Colleagues from Kyiv and Dnipropetrovs’k: “Energodarstroy”, “Energodarteploenerhomontazh”, “Akvilon”, “Valdi”, “MSU-100 “Stal’konstruktsiya” and others joined them in the construction of the object.

As at previous facilities, which are built by “NIBULON” within the frames of the investment project on construction of the terminal in “Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” equipment of the company’s partner - Danish company "CIMBRIA UNIGRAIN A / S" will be used. The quality of this equipment has been checked for long years of cooperation and complies with the best technical indicators: high performance - 250 tons per hour, reliable drive, compact size, correlative thickness of steel bucket and chain conveyors, easy-to-use.

There will be also used equipment of the best proven domestic and foreign manufacturers: "SCHMIDT-SEEGER AG" (Germany); "Mathews" (U.S.); "SIMATEK A / S" (Denmark); "RAKORAF" (Denmark); "PRECIA -MOLEN "(Belgium);" TELESTACK "(Great Britain); “SYMAGa” (Spain), “Bulat” (Ukraine) “Lord” (Ukraine), “Kalyniws’kyy mashynobudivnyy zavod” (Ukraine).
This terminal will become “NIBULON’s” first facility in Zaporizhzhya region. Today 25 thousand of land owners entrusted the company with more than 70 thousand hectars of farmland. Building such a facility in Zaporizhzhya region has become a major breakthrough for developing the economic potential of the whole region and Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka district in particular. During construction of the terminal over a thousand of workplaces for construction companies will be provided. After setting the facility into operation 60 workplaces will ensure the success of the branch. As the General Director of “NIBULON”, Hero of Ukraine O. Company “NIBULON” according to the schedule makes large-scale investment project, which is not only the impetus for the development of Zaporizhzhya region, but also should become a particular way out of crisis to Ukraine. Undertaking an active investment in this period – is not an easy decision.
