OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2010. ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate has concluded an insurance contract covering civil liability of Ust-Luga Branch of FGUP Rosmorport for operation of a hazardous industrial object. The insurance amount is 7,000,000 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

In accordance with the concluded contract, ROSNO undertakes to reimburse the damage inflicted to life, health and property of third parties or environment in case of any breakdown or incident occurring in course of operation of the hazardous industrial object — a section of the railway ferry facility in the seaport Ust-Luga, the St. Petersburg Region, designed for transportation of hazardous substances (cargo).

The contract will be valid for 1 year.
