International Rail Forum to Take Place in Tallinn
OREANDA-NEWS. The II International Regional Rail Business Forum "Strategic Partnership 1520: The Baltic Sea Region" will be held at Swissotel in the Estonian capital Tallinn from 8-10 February 2010, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.
Russian Railways is the main international partner of the Forum, general partner is Eesti Raudtee (Estonian Railways).
The II International Regional Rail Business Forum "Strategic Partnership 1520: The Baltic Sea Region" will discuss the most pressing problems facing transport and logistics in the 1520 Space, the broad-gauge track of 1520 mm used in much of eastern Eurasia.
The Forum will be attended by the heads of railway companies from the 1520 Space, European government authorities, leaders of international associations and unions, senior managers, business owners, leading rail experts and representatives of financial institutions.

The I International Regional Rail Business Forum "Strategic Partnership 1520: The Baltic Sea Region" was held in the Latvian capital Riga between 8-10 February 2008 and was warmly received by the business community. The Forum identified the stages for the future development of the European part of the 1520 Space and outlined the importance of developing and achieving common strategic goals among all the broad-gauge operators in the Baltic region. The Forum was attended by 350 delegates from 17 countries.
