Russia Became Largest Partner-Exporter of Moldova in Jan-Nov 2009
OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2010. In January-November 2009, the largest partner-exporter of Moldova was Russia with share of 22,4% (USD 259,6 million) of the total exports.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, it is 11,2% less than in January-November 2008, followed by: Romania - 19,1%, USD 221.1 million (-29.8%), Italy - 10,6 %, USD 122.6 million (-19.4%), Ukraine - 6,2%, USD 72 million (-46.1%), Belarus - 6,2%, USD 72 million (-13.6%), Germany - 5,9%, USD 68.3 million (13.5%), United Kingdom - 4.7%, USD 54.1 million (12.5%), Poland - 2,6%, USD 30, 7 million (-41.7%), Turkey - 2.5%, USD 29.3 million (-3.4%), Kazakhstan - 2,2%, USD 25.1 million (-60.6%), Switzerland - 1.7%, USD 119.7 million (-41.7%), France - 1,5%, USD 17.5 million (-0.4%), Greece - 1,3%, USD 15, 1 million (by 2,3 times), Bulgaria - 1,1%, USD 12.7 million (-40.9%), Hungary - 1%, USD 11.7 million (-31.6%).
The share of these countries, as well as the USA, Holland, Lithuania, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Slovakia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Syria, Iraq, Serbia, Panama, Israel, Azerbaijan accounted for 96,8% of the total exports from Moldova in January-November 2009, totaling US 1 billion 159,6 million (-21.2%).
