OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2010. By decision of competitive commission of December 15, 2009 "On the selection of banks in which pensioners and recipients of financial aid can open accounts for payments", the term of agreement between Pension Fund of Ukraine, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine and Prominvestbank had been prolonged until January 1, 2011.

Today Prominvestbank provides services to almost 300 thousand pensioners which get pensions through current and cards accounts with the Bank. The amount of balance on current (card) accounts for pensioners opened with Prominvestbank increased by UAH 203,0 million, or 27,8% and the amount of fund credited to these accounts increased by UAH 80,3 million, or 26,1% from the beginning of year.

Executing the functions of the authorized bank for payments of pensions Prominvestbank has developed special program for recipients that offers opening of current and cards accounts with 12% p.a. interest, and special accounts for pensioners "Veteran" with 23,5% p.a. interest for UAH, 11,5% p.a. interest for USD, and 11% p.a. interest in EUR and RUR. In addition, pensioners who open deposit accounts for the term of 3 months and more, becomes participant of "Loyalty program" according to which they will automatically get increased interest for their deposits by 0,1 - 0,75%.
