OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2010. Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) informs that KASE discontinued self-maintenance of Thomson Reuters pages with KASE data in trades and market indicators with the exception of pages accessible on RIK [KAZPRIME=], [KAZPRIME1] and [KAZPRIME2] indicating Kazakhstan inter-bank deposits market indicator KazPrime, reported the press-centre of KASE.

This decision KASE made jointly with Thomson Reuters due to the agreement term termination, signed on 1997 between REUTERS LIMITED and Almaty Financial Instruments Exchange (AFINEX), which parties decided not to extend to the next year.

Thus, from January 1, 2010 KASE is not responsible for reliability of data published on the following Thomson Reuters information system pages:

- AFINEX01 - foreign currency trading on KASE morning and day sessions;

- AFINEX02 - real-time foreign currency trading on KASE;

- KASE01-KASE05 - shares trading results on KASE;

- KASE06 - government securities trading results on KASE;

- KASE07-KASE9, KASE11-KASE19, KASE21-KASE25 - corporate bonds trading results on KASE;

- KASE20 - corporate bonds market indictors on KASE by the day results;

- KASEINDEX - KASE Index representative list shares prices by the day results;

KASE also informs that in the first half of 2009 the exchange jointly with its affiliates developed and put into operation the hardware-software complex allowing real-time KASE trades and market indicators information dissemination using worldwide accepted standards and the so-called FIX-protocol. In this format KASE began providing of the information to Thomson Reuters from summer of 2009 as a pilot with simultaneous maintenance of above pages by KASE employees through previously developed software. This allowed the cooperating parties by the end of 2009 to solve certain organizational and technical problems, occurring at the information delivery using the FIX-protocol and its further dissemination to Thomson Reuters clients.

From January 1, 2010 all Thomson Reuters pages, indicating KASE events, with the exception of [KAZPRIME=], [KAZPRIME1] and [KAZPRIME2], are self-maintained by Thomson Reuters based on the KASE provided data via the mentioned hardware-software complex using the FIX-protocol.
