OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2010. Tudor Copaci was appointed the new director general of the Public Property Agency of Moldova. This was announced at the press conference by the Vice Premier, the Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar, who noted that he had signed the order approving him in this position at the end of the last year.

The head of the Ministry of Economy also said that the agency has ambitious plans to attract strategic investors in the national economy, increase foreign direct investments through strengthening process of privatization of the state assets and create more favorable conditions for doing business in Moldova.

Valeriu Lazar said that Tudor Copaci’s experience, who previously was the deputy minister of economy and from July to mid-December 2009 headed the Agro-industrial agency "Moldova-vin”, would be rather useful at his new post.
